CaseWare Scenarios is easily integrated into any existing Working Papers engagement giving you immediate access to the client data without having to import or input additional information. Most users will simply need to import Scenarios as a document library and the full functionality of Scenarios will be instantly available.

 

Quick Scenario Creation

With CaseWare Scenarios, you can select your desired Entity (with consolidated files) and Accounting Period. You can change the entity and period of time to display the relevant data. Scenarios are generated based on actual historical data or on previously developed scenarios.

Information can be combined across scenarios allowing you to forecast the implications of a single or multiple business decisions, implementing best practices, etc.

Split screen views clearly display the relationships between all business drivers and financial results while doing "what if" analysis.

From the Scenarios toolbar, you can link to the full Trial Balance and the Assign Mapping dialog in Working Papers.

CaseWare® Scenarios - Minimum Supported Configuration


To run Scenarios, you require a personal or multimedia computer meeting the following requirements:

  • CaseWare® Working Papers English version 2004.00.203 or higher
  • Windows XP/ 2000 /NT (v 4.00 with SP4 or later)
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 or later
  • Minimum 128MB RAM or higher recommended
  • Minimum 4 MB for Scenarios content/libraries/help
  • Minimum 7 MB open client file
  • Minimum 2 MB for each compressed client file
  • Pentium II 233MHz or higher processor
  • No specific video requirement; however, optimally presented when set at 1024 X 768

    Working Papers 2004 must be installed prior to installing Scenarios.
