We have prepared a Caseware Audit International Template (CAIT) patch for version 16.00 and it is now available for download.

The patch was designed to address the following issues:

Include the Workflow panel in new files created based on CAIT.
For existing files you have to manually enable Workflow by clicking on Tools|Options|Layout, then select “Audit International Workflow 4.0”
Add missing files necessary for updating client files to v16.00

PLEASE READ the following instructions very carefully before proceeding with the installation.

The file “Audit International - CY (patch 20141101)” is suitable ONLY for firms that have performed NO customisations to their template profiles.

Engagement Profile customisations that will require a different procedure to be performed may include:

Creation of Firm’s own Engagement Profiles (additional to the default six profiles)
Customisation of existing engagement profiles
Changes in CAIT General Options document

If you have NOT performed any customisations in your firm Audit Template, please proceed with the installation.

In case you have performed any customisation work, as described above, DO NOT install this patch. This will delete any Profile customisations and restore the Template settings as they are included in the current Caseware Audit International Template. In order to keep your firm’s customisations, please contact us, so we may help you with the correct update procedure.

Other Important Notes:

Always consult with the Firm Author before continuing with the installation.
Please create a backup copy of your template before proceeding with any of the above options.
To log-in to our new website ( www.cms-ss.com ), please use
- Username: Your email address (instead of your client code)
- Password: The same password you would normally use to access our old web page
