This error is caused due to certain required DLL’s related to the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime not being registered or installed on your computer.
The Microsoft Visual C++ runtime is required to be installed in order for the CaseWare installation to successfully complete. In some instances if Windows Updates have not been run or if a conflicting version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime has been installed by another application, it can cause Error 1904 to be raised by the CaseWare installation.
This error has multiple causes and the resolution will depend on your IT environment. For further assistance contact your IT administrator or IT service provider to assist you with resolving this issue.
Some anti-virus software may incorrectly report issues from CaseWare products and prevent the applications from functioning. If you are experiencing these issues, ensure you have updated your anti-virus software to the latest upgrades and service packs.
If you are still encountering issues with your anti-virus software and CaseWare products, we suggest adding exceptions to your anti-virus for the following file extensions and executables:

After a recent Windows 11 update, the print dialog has a new look (in all applications) that includes a print preview pane, but no longer includes a number of custom Working Papers options, such as Skip annotations and commentary text, Include tickmark legend, Skip collapsed text and Current Page. In addition, the print dialog is now labeled “Printing from Win32 application”.
This redesigned print dialog is a new feature of Windows 11. If you want to restore to the old print dialog of Windows 10, see Restore the Legacy Print Dialog in Windows 11 22H2 for a workaround.
Using the Copy Components feature, update the Mapping Structure.
